Q.WILL HOT WATER EXTRACTION DAMAGE MY CARPET?
A. NO! Hot Water extraction is the method preferred by many leading carpet manufacturers. It is considered by many to be the best method of removing embedded soil and other contaminants.

Q. HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET MY CARPETS CLEANED?
A. Your carpets should be professionally cleaned every 12months if maintained and cleaned correctly, the carpet life is extended as well. Your carpet will not be damaged if cleaned correctly and on a regular basis. It is the unseen bacteria, soils and allergens that cause the damage.

Q. HOW SOON CAN I WALK ON MY CARPETS AFTER CLEANING?
A. immediately providing you have clean shoes, feet and socks. The carpet fibres will be cleaned only. The backing underlay or floor boards should not get wet.

Q. WHAT FURNITURE WOULD BE EXPECTED TO BE MOVED WHEN I HAVE MY CARPETS CLEANED?
A. PW Cleaning will move the light furniture side to side like tables, chairs, sofas and lounges, but furniture that is bulky and heavy e.g. fish tanks, cabinets, computers, waterbeds, bookcases etc. we cannot move.

Q.HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MY CARPET TO DRY AFTER CLEANING?
A. the average drying time is 2-4 hours

Q. IS IT POSSIBLE TO CLEAN CARPETS TOO OFTEN?
A. NO! Cleaning every 6 to 12 months will help keep maintain its original appearance.

Q. I’VE HEARD THAT ONCE YOU CLEAN A CARPET IT GETS DIRTY QUICKER, IS THIS TRUE?

Then we remove the dirt and the cleaning solution with rinse and powerful industrial vacuuming, leaving your carpet soft and clean.

Q. CAN YOU FIX INDENTATIONS FROM HEAVY FURNITURE?
A. no guarantee can be made on removing indentations from heavy furniture. In addition to the pile of the carpet being crushed, the backing of the carpet is indented. Heat, moisture and hand grooming with our equipment can help, but it will take time to release back to normal, if at all some severe cases may be permanently.

Q. HOW OFTEN DOES THE CARPET CLEANING PROCESS TAKE?
A. Depending on the size of the area, how many stains and if there is furniture to be moved, 120 metres of carpet can be cleaned per hour.

Q. WHY SHOULD I HAVE MY CARPETS PROTECTED?
A. carpet protection helps you in three very important ways. When this protective coating is applied to the carpet fibres, it puts a protective barrier around each fibre. This protective barrier resists moisture. When you do have a spill, it gives you a window of time to get it cleaned up. The next important way this product helps you is in the area of wear, having this protective coating on your carpet helps reduce the wear and abrasion by sand in the carpet. This protects the carpet from excessive matting, and in turn will cause your carpet to perform better. Finally it is much easier to vacuum all the particles and bacteria components, because the soiling cannot penetrate through the carpet fibres.

Q. DOES PW CLEANING SERVICES GUARANTEE THEIR WORK?
A. YES! They do for a period up to 7 days after cleaning, but be rest assured your carpets will be cleaned by qualified technicians using the latest truck mounted and portable machinery to assure you the best job will be done the first time always.
